Social anxiety doesn't only mean you are afraid of people looking at you and stuff. It also means you can't think cleary in such situations, say things you didn't mean or forget anything. You are easily giving in even if you're in the right. Anything important can only be done via mail.

Whenever these "Do you remember these things from your childhood" stuff comes up I realize how poor we were. No TV, no fancy clothes or toys, no trips that were not linked to work, no warm running water - but we found a way to have fun or at least tried to.
