I think the saddest part of it all is that just as the generation that experienced the horrors of WW II are dying we are seeing fascism rise again. Our species remembered that trauma for less than a century. The scars will never heal because the wounds keep ripping open.

I'm almost halfway through Kamala's book and on the one hand I am literally in tears over how much we could've had if she had won, but on the other hand I'm very frustrated that she refuses to take an anti-israel stance. She offers compassion for gaza but not support. Like what the fuck will it take

I do not understand why Sabrina Carpenter marketed her album the way she did. It is so like soft and dreamy I feel like the vibe should have been more y2k pixelated pink and purple twilight vibes. The album title itself doesn't match the songs at all. It just makes no sense.

I feel like you can just tell when stuff is AI. I'm amazing at that game where you select the image that is or isn't ai. It's just so easy to tell. Like why are we acting like it's hard to tell?

So I watch a lot of those short chinese dramas they advertise on tiktok (usually they're free on daily motion). I really want to know, what is going on in china. Literally everyone works in some kind of financial firm. Everyone is poor and being kicked out of their ancestral home.

I know this Comes off super backhanded but I really hope Chappel Roan. never gets plastic surgery of any kind. She has such a perfect face. I'dhave to see her lose that and just look like a Sharp Object just like every other Celebrity.

Egypt is literally the perfect setting for White Lotus I can't imagine them not using it in a season. I hope if they do, though, they use Egyptian actors and actresses and they do a lot of research.

I am too afraid of my data being used against me to do a DNA test (even though I REALLY want one). But I do think if we gave everyone a DNA test once and a brain scan every 10 years we'd solve like 80% of medical problems. Add in a full body MRI every few years and we're ay 100%

I'm so fucking tired of hearing about how bad people are ″signaling″. They're doing awful shit. I don't care about the secret handshake or code worss. They're doing horrible things to real people. Can we focus on that? Can we cut the discourse and start the action?

One of my favorite movies to watch with students is called ″An American Eid″ about two sisters from pakistan felebrating their first Eid in America. I genuinely tear up at parts of it. If you can you should watch it.

The fact that we can say ″it's more afraid of you than you are of it″ about almost every species of animal on earth is kind of devastating. We are so destructive that one of the essential characteristics of a surviving animal species is to fear us.
