SAME. Why do I gotta work like a boring adult when I could be crossing animals?!

Even then, getting the endings doesn't take very long. You can also not, if you don't feel like it!

Chrono Trigger. It's short for a JRPG. Nice and breezy, great cast, great music, fun battle system.

Oh darn, I know most of these. Some of them are playing with my brain. Inspector Gadget, Marty McFly, He-Man, GI-Joe? Or is it Col. Guile? Uhh... dude in the hat, don't know, and Mr. T?

Hooooly shit the Ecco games were my childhood. I sucked at them, but I loved them! I am super excited to hear more.

Eddie seems like the type to get blackout drunk and tip with a least a hunner.

Just don't spend several episodes on powering up and nothing else!
(I kid, I kid!)

FINALLY. I've been waiting for this! It was a good year for gaming. #2025YearinReview

Redwall is a fantasy series with talking animals doing typical fantasy things: they wear armor, use weapons, and fight in massive pitched battles. I have talking animals in space, so I call it Redwall in space. (Also I don't have the inexplicable species-based racism that Redwall has.)

I sometimes describe my book as "Redwall in space." Would that be bad to do?

PBS was my childhood!

Oh my GOD. This quest traumatized me. It's a way too accurate representation of the retail worker experience. I didn't want to relive my days working my way through grad school as a cashier! #PokemonLegendsZtoA

Ooh! You have my interest. Eager to see results!

I am in North America. I figured out the issue, though. Neither game was showing as eligible on the Nintendo website, but if you went to the eShop on the Switch, you could redeem a voucher for Z to A and Metroid both. Never checked if they got added to the website. I got them both, no worries.

This quest is cute but there should be a special place in hell for developers who program a quest target you have to follow who walks faster than your walking speed but slower than your running speed!

Yeah I live in New England I would be unironically down for that.

You could also argue a fox, same energy. Cat software on dog hardware. (Fellow Xennial checking in!)

What kind of ramen? Have you tried Buldak ramen? It will change your life!

No joke, Pokopia is one of my most anticipated games this year. I am a mark for chill farming/life sims and ofc I've played Pokemon since Red and Blue. I am a mark for this game, a rube. It was made for me!

I have an alarm clock. I purposely do not keep my phone anywhere near me when I sleep. Nor do I use it in the bedroom. The bedroom is for sleeping. Overnight my phone sits on my desk, charging.

I love him.

I've seen a few posts about it and I guess it's a thing people do? I have never, and will never, set a reading goal. I read what I want, as much (or as little!) as I want. Setting a goal would just make me feel pressured to read, and I don't want that. Reading is supposed to be fun! Happy New Year!
January 1, 2026 at 9:45 PM
I am a voracious reader and same. I don't set goals. I read what I want to read, as much as I want to read. Some weeks I don't read at all! Some days I read instead of playing video games! Doesn't matter.

I've been eyeing them, but I've played them both already, so it hasn't been a huge priority. I played Apollo on 3DS and the fan translation of Investigations. I know the official translation is a bit different, but I imagine it's similar enough. Plus I have a million games! Anyway, hope you enjoy!
