Gemini isn't remotely close to OpenAI or Anthropic in terms of performance. Forcing Gemini on Android or users of other google products inflates this "gaining ground" perspective, but Gemini is absolute trash in terms of accuracy and performance. It is overly constrained in both side-ism.

US Attys declaring loyalty to a president rather than the Constitution represents an erosion of DOJ independence - a cornerstone of rule of law. When justice officials pledge personal allegiance over constitutional duty, it fully undermines separation of powers and threatens impartial justice.

they applied a creative revision to the training approach, which they also made available on Git. the LLM itself is reminiscent of early days - hallucinatory, inaccurate and also constrained by PRC, but it is the novel and disruptive training approach that is the "big deal".
