To let you know, I'm not trying to downplay the fact that shows with LGBT themes & fans get hit with this bullshit. It's just something I don't think gets brought up often enough, especially since those on the spectrum face similar prejudice to the LGBT community.

Don't forget fandoms with autistic people. At least 90% of media that became a target of cringe culture are those with a predominantly neurodivergent audience. When the media and fandoms in question deviate from conformity, it's obvious the hate against them is just thinly-veiled ableism.
