We never really addressed the content moderation issue on social media, we just let the folks accountable get too powerful to hold accountable.
If they can't even handle a conversation about content moderation, what ever gave us the idea they'd implement safeguards on what a model produces?

Writing in a PR agency full-time made it difficult for me to feel energized to write for myself for longer than I'll admit.
Even as I've shifted to more iOS dev and creative tech, I've struggled to find time and energy. Tonight, finally did a short *and* said something about social algos.

With the disclaimer that I might say something very different at the end of the weekend, I think I landed on my #Shipaton idea. I’m even talking myself into supporting both iOS 18 and iOS 26 even though I’m definitely thinking of some ‘26 stuff as the real MVP.

Unclear if it's "That's just Outlook" or if it's my IT org, but learned yesterday I couldn't *just* hide the unread emails badge on the Outlook for Mac icon.
And I kind of feel like that's a specific form of torture.

Getting the big feels seeing the "CLGeocoder is deprecated in iOS 26" warning. A lot of the early apps I cut my teeth with used that heavily.
OK, specifically the McRib Finder. Looking forward to learning how we're doing this with MapKit now.
