Anyone who thinks school is the same as cops and prisons need to start supporting alternative schools.
The one I work at currently we’re giving students History and Math credits for learning about and filming a mini documentary on Youth Liberation.

Taoism sometimes says to foresake knowledge. stop seeking it. but Gnosticism sees knowledge as the key to salvation. the way to reach gnosis. Taoism also says knowledge is good sometimes. Gnosticism also says not all knowledge is good. I think basically learn what is useful.

Universalism, the belief that all religions share common themes, I believe allows for some degree of customization and syncretism of a few different beliefs. one just needs to find the commonalities. I would say I am a Deist, a Taoist, and a Gnostic. Universalism allows me to combine these beliefs.
