Roundup of my favorite television from 2025. Sci-fi heavy hitters like Star Trek and the stellar Andor of course. Silo was right up there too, probably my favorite currently running live action show. And I’m pleased by how much animation made it on this list too.

Time for a roundup of my favorite books of 2025. King Sorrow and The Buffalo Hunter Hunter rewired my brain chemistry and heart strings. Good Boy is one of my favorite cosmic horror entries in a while and a real tear-jerker. So much of what I’ve read was A-list horror ranging from macabre to cozy.

Sinners is my clear favorite film of 2025. Killer of Killers floored me, and how crazy is it that we got two Predator movies this year and they’re both on my list? And two wildly different yet wildly perfect King adaptations.

I really genuinely enjoyed season four of The Witcher on Netlflix. It’s too bad it’s the butt of a lot of jokes on the internet lately. I know almost no on personally who has given this new season a chance. It’s based on Baptism of Fire which is my favorite novel in the Witcher book series.

The transition into this new season of King of the Hill is so flawless it’s like the show never went off the air. Been savoring the season for the past week and I haven’t laughed this much and felt such catharsis through TV characters like this in so long.

Really enjoyed #BlackBag which showcases what marriage is at its best—two people against the world, so fully attuned to each other that nothing can stop them. It really worked as an understated spy thriller where the cast had such interesting dynamics with one another.
