If there's a silver lining, it may be the opportunity for American self reflection.
What if schools taught history that isn't entirely mythical and American centric? What if Hollywood films reflected actual events, instead of some "how we won the war single-handed and saved the world" garbage?

I have been passing this nightly for years, and I love the way the pole light illuminates the structures. I could imagine being a lonely ghost there, stuck forever with no one to even haunt.
