I saw some snowdrops on the way to work this morning and it made me ridiculously happy. It was raining and I was late, so didn't stop to take a pic, but it's always sweet to see the snowdrops make an appearance. I might even break out my camera this weekend... 📷😎

A group of wooden ornaments in a wooded area. They are meant to resemble toadstools though the red and white caps are more triangular in shape, rather than round, and the bases are long, thin pieces of wood making them taller and skinnier than a toadstool would ever be. There are around a dozen of them placed in a circle.

We're in a small public space, a square of grass with small bushes between roads and buildings on a day that's overcast with thin cloud allowing the faintest hint of blue through its veil over the scene. Central in this public park is an impractical house; it's actually an art exhibit. The house has all the features you'd expect from a two storey building with pale cream walls, door, windows, sloping roof of grey tiles. The strange factor is its dimensions with it being ridiculously narrow. Our view is looking at it from a three-quarters angle so we can see the front of the house angling left away from us, appearing more-or-less normal, but the depth of the house can be seen on the wall angling right from us; it's less than two metres wide. The effect is as if someone had squeezed a normal house until you could touch the front and back of the building with your arms barely outstretched. There's a delightful confusion about the whimsical architecture.
