As AI becomes better at coding, a thought comes to me:

AI is essentially raising the "literacy rate" for programming languages.

Update: The David Mayer issue has been fixed, but the other five names are still blocked.

If there really is a David Mayer from the Rothschild family who doesn't want attention, it's clearly backfired.

Now *everyone* knows who he is.

ChatGPT refuses to say the name David Mayer. Thoughts:

1. What happened?
2. Do we want LLMs as gatekeepers of information?
3. AI can’t forget. Forgetting means "permanently remembering not to mention it"

(kind of dystopian, huh?)

Sharing a quick way to input prompts on ChatGPT: Text Replacements.

Eg. type ">>translate," and it instantly expands into a full translation prompt.

It’s great for prompts you copy and paste a lot, like rewrites or grammar checks.

People procrastinate for reasons or emotions that their rational mind might not realize.

Cheap dopamine is 99% of the problem in modern society.

Cheap dopamine sources:
・processed food
・social media
・porn
・news (dashcam footage, fights, hatred)

They're worse than alcohol and cigarettes. Equally addictive but free with no regulations.

I've been listening to a lot of Zach Bryan lately. It’s become my default work music.

Came across him on Spotify. Is he popular in the US?

I wasn’t into country music before, but I find his songwriting quite poetic.

When simulating careers for 40 years with a normal distribution of talent, the results still align with the 80-20 rule:

80% of success goes to 20% of the people.

It’s not about talent. It’s about chance.

Been thinking about this experiment lately 👇

Avoid people offering "success secrets" for free.

If they truly benefited from those secrets, they wouldn't be inviting competition.

Your eyeballs are their real (and only) profit.

And they’ll monetize it fast.

I used to think I lacked discipline. Sometimes, all I want to do is lie on the couch and do nothing.

But over the years, I still managed to achieve things that required consistent effort (like publishing a book).

Then it hit me: "Not being disciplined" is actually the key (here's why & 4 tips)👇

Just got here and I'm already loving it!

Reminds me of the Twitter before 2021 and Elon Musk -- a place where you can truly learn something and connect with real people.
