I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."

Just found out that one of my closest friends had a PhD offer rescinded because the NIH grant funding the program was cut. He’s considering Europe, as are a lot of researchers and scientists. Our research sector was the envy of the world. We’ll never recover. No hell hot enough

We just finished “A Complete Unknown” - the biopic about Bob Dylan. If you’re a fan, give it a watch. We loved it, and Dylan was involved in the making of the movie, so it had his blessing. Timothée Chalamet did an outstanding job as Dylan.
