The "Papageiensiedlung" in Berlin (Onkel Toms Hütte) was designed by architect and urban planner Bruno Taut between 1926 and 1931. The estate got its nickname, Papageiensiedlung (Parrot Estate), because of its brightly colored, parrot-like facades.

"DonB" has published another very nice asset, the "Albrecht Dürer Monument" from Nürnberg/Nuremberg. I simulated many parts of Albrecht-Dürer-Platz in terms of size, design, and hillside location in the historic old town of my city project.

Thank you, "DonB", for your "Diana Temple." It was a lot of fun incorporating this wonderful asset into my city and recreating large parts of the "Hofgarten" in München/Munich exactly as it was.

A 1:1 implementation isn't always possible, especially since I have to consider the overall functionality of my city. However, with real buildings, I always try to incorporate as many details and motifs as possible. (Schloss Bellevue in Berlin, Asset: SvenBerlin)

I've been reworking some railway embankments in recent weeks. I've created typical signs and a small infrastructure building for them. These are based on my own photographs. I found the signs in varying degrees of newness, faded appearance, or even with rust spots.

For me, an important part of what I enjoy about Cities Skylines is the lively city. Busy streets, Cims at the bus stop or on the way home, cyclists on bike paths, etc.
