If they actually cared about economic value, they'd build and support systems enabling anyone to wait until their million-dollar idea comes along, not to toil ad mortem just to survive.

Maybe we need a conversation space like #PositivityLoops, where people can share and engage in conversation that actually has positive feedback for positive contributions to conversation.

Just to be clear: I don't think you have to be positive all the time. It's OK to complain about some things. That's natural.
But try to make your net positive output outweigh (by far, if possible!) your negativity, and avoid obvious negativity loops and personal attacks. It's just not worth it.

Just to be clear: I don't think you have to be positive all the time. It's OK to complain about some things. That's natural.

The Newskies feed is one of the more helpful feeds for old users to spend time on(I previously posted on Reddit that Bluesky needs a "Knights of New"), but there is *far* too much AI and borderline NSFW content there.

OK, so looks like #BlueskyImprovement is a good conversation space to talk about stuff, and it's decently intuitive (three other people have already used it).
So I'm just gonna continue that trend and dump ideas for Bluesky improvement there. It'll be interesting to see when it becomes flooded.

Did about 34 minutes before the elliptical started making a horrible squeaking that I worried might wake my boyfriend.
Perhaps it's time to finally starting trying to run outside again...We have the land, I just worry about the wild animals out here. But hey, it's super cold right now.

Congrats on making it happen! I gave up on the treadmill because I hurt myself running on one; it felt like I had to run in a weird way, never hurt myself like that jogging outside.
I use an elliptical now, and it's way better for me. In fact, I'll go do some right now, thanks for the inspo!
