I’m not sure how I managed to live in Mexico for more than two years without knowing about bueñelos. Stay away if you’re trying to not to add addictive foods to your diet.

The best part of the trump/Clinton stuff is even if it’s not true, it’s out there!! Can’t unring that bell. I love that for them.

The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

This should be everywhere.
Remember Virginia. Honor the survivors. Release the Epstein files and hold Trump accountable.

The path up from Mono Lake. This was taken in September, and that is rabbit brush in bloom.

Very cool spot on the east side of the Sierras.

Nature is the antidote to our current poisonous situation.

Whenever I walk past a jackfruit tree, I just giggle. They are so absurd! The fruit just pops out of the side of the tree in such a bizarre way. It is delicious though!

I’ll translate for you. He is saying, quit saying psp psp psp to me in Spanish. This, of course, does not stop me from doing it every time I see him.

Huracán Priscilla pounding the west coast of Mexico today. She’s parked 300 miles out, but still packing a wallop. Terrifying and beautiful.

Posting pics of nature because the US daily horror show has become too much for me.

What a terrifying news day. How are you all maintaining your mental health? Mine is teetering.

I finished North Woods by Daniel MasonIt took me awhile to process the story and decide if I liked it I have decided that I loved it.It’s a complex, well written story of a house and the stories that pass through it over the years. Not an easy read, but a really satisfying one.

The stark beauty of Death Valley National Park. 111 degrees- but it was a dry heat. Like an oven!

This little maple decided to go first-an early harbinger of what’s to come. Always such a bittersweet time of year to me.

Paddlers welcomed. Such a pleasant surprise to see a sign like this. Of course I pulled up and had a sit. It’s important to squeeze in all summer you can as fall comes barreling in.

Fall is in the air here. Such dramatic clouds and vibrant colors. Buenas noches, Bluesky.

This rope swing has seen a lot of action over the years. We could hear the ghosts of teenagers laughing as we passed by.
