Honestly, in light of the reality of the insane growth they've had in such a small period...
You HAVE to pick a side for them to err on. Overdoing moderation or underdoing it.
You can't expect a gold standard of enforcement and protection, tisnot how things work.

As someone who grew up in the Air Force & has *always* lived w/in a few miles of a major flightline...
95% of you don't have a clue how many easily visible lights are usually right above your heads. 95+% of these sightings are extremely common things.
