When you zoom in on the Elephant's Trunk nebula, it looks more like the Elephant's dragon. I tried to map 29 hours of Ha, SII & OIII to a SHO palette using Seti Astro Suite Pro. A pretty cool bit of space, no matter how you colour it! #astrophotography

I'm new to mono processing -- this was my first attempt with the QHY Minicam8 and narrowband filters. Imaged at Starfest 2025 in Ontario. Just 1 hour of integration each with Ha, OIII and SII filters. Processed with Siril & Seti Astro Suite. #Astrophotography

Our last trip to a darker Ontario sky started with this thick layer of forest fire smoke. The first night was so-so but by the second night things improved a lot. I focused on this wide field view of the Bubble nebula, M52 and a few other treasures. #astrophotography

Congress must take away Trump's #tariff authority because Trump has proven over and over that he can't be trusted. Nations deserve to make honorable and lawful deals with other NATIONS, not with wannabe dictators. Stop the stupidity and take your democracy back, America.
On CNBC today, Elizabeth Warren had to explain to anchor Sara Eisen that Congress can in fact take away Trump's tariffs authority, and also that America is not ruled by a king who can make laws by decree.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.

Trump institutes tariffs against Canada and Mexico, claiming they have to slow the import of fentanyl across our borders. They already did under Biden. In a few days/week, Trump will lift the tariffs and take credit, saying he was the one who got fentanyl deaths down.
