I'm of the opinion that a stream should have loud volume.
This is because I believe it's easier for viewers to lower the volume of a loud stream than it is to raise a silent stream!!

What I love to see in a streamer's community is the autonomous-ness of chat.
They will be there for the streamer, talking with them and cracking jokes, but also chatting amongst themselves while the streamer is busy playing a game or even out getting a cup of water!!
