It really is a state of being as much as being human is. It doesn’t make it a happy experience though. The misery brought on by being trans and unable to transition has landed me in the psyche ward once due to the thoughts that overwhelmed me. Medicine keeps me running, but things aren’t better.
being trans is not a negative outcome and neither is being autistic
