One of the problems with being neurodivergent is that the amount of people you feel understands you is so small that it's impossible to build up a meaningful support system over time. By the time you find one, they're already gone. Not sure how to find what I'm looking for.

Saw this at #VIFF last month.
Very strange, long, confusing movie with the final 30 minutes being some of the best filmmaking of the decade. Worth watching and will see again. 7/10

What I'm learning is that many Americans believe no social support system should exist if it can be abused by some; Which is strange because that's literally every system.
Seeing all of these videos of Americans going "Nyah nyah" at poor people who can't get food stamps while simultaneously wearing Jesus merch is pretty insane.
