Every time I see someone talk about the freedom of “self driving cars” I want to yell “YOU WANT A TRAIN”
Air travel is miserable and cars are emotional cages; the only way to restore American communities is through rail. Make Chicago a great central rail hub again!

I genuinely think that if we completely abandoned “community input” the world would be a better place
I’ve become blackpilled after seeing all sorts of important infrastructure from housing to bus lanes to high speed rail be thwarted by rich boomers who complain about everything

it’s fascinating that left-NIMBYs will just nonchalantly say “the private sector will never release enough homes to allow prices to fall” as if it’s some universally known truth…

Insane to me that most of Valley Metro's transit seems to operate at less than 20 mph on average.
