Working all day last Sat, I've been off today. This morning I went to a karaoke joint nearby with my acoustic guitar and spent three hours practicing some songs. Since finding out that a karaoke room is a very good place for practicing the guitar, I've always used it when I want to play it loudly.

My 13-year-old son is in the baseball club of his junior high school. As he was a beginner when he joined the club, I had been afraid he might feel frustrated in practicing with experienced friends. Now it's been almost a year and I feel relieved to see him enjoying the sport with his nice friends.

For public high schools in this district, March 1st is the day the graduation ceremony takes place. Our school held it this morning in the gym, where it was so cold that the three large-sized heaters did not seem to be working. The ceremony itself, going well in a solemn atmosphere, was very nice.
