He stepped carefully, found the edges of a small textured object under his sole, and entered the warm air that smelled like sesame oil and laundry and the citrus cleaner Jimin must have used that morning. It smelled like people who use things and then put them away. “Shoes to the left,” Jimin said. “Plants straight ahead. They are friendly.” “Hello,” Yoongi told the plants. “That was very polite,” Nari said, delighted. “Do you want to see my room or the kitchen first.” “Nari,” Jimin warned from the kitchen. “Let Yoongi rest.”

After the accident, Yoongi stopped making music. He stopped a lot of things, really — being independent, sleeping through the night, trusting the ground beneath his feet. Dance therapy was someone else’s idea. He went to prove it wouldn’t work. Then he met Jimin, a teacher whose voice filled the room the way light used to, and who came with a little girl whose laughter made the silence sound less permanent. Between them: a floor that listens, a body learning again, and the sound of something quietly coming back to life. A slow-burn about touch, trust, and the music that survives when everything else goes.

Jin started ‘Made by Jin’ (Butterfly’s Honeypot / Jini’s Lamp / IGIN) because he wanted to gift alcohol to his members, but Korean law bans unlicensed alcohol distribution. To do it legally, he established a licensed brewery, complying with the Liquor Tax Act and gift restrictions under Korean law.

I'm working and listening to the singing songs from Yoongi (aka Life Goes On, People...). It's so good to hear him sing. 🥰 I can imagine his mother saying "play a song for me Yoongi-ah" right after saying he looks good in long hair 😅 you know what I mean? Or am I alone in this?

Yoongi and Namjoon after performing Strange during D-Day final concert. They are clasping hands in that "bro hug" type way. Yoongi's expression is of a smile that is begging to be wide and gummy, but is close-lipped with crinkly-smiley eyes. The pride and love on Yoongi's face is palpable. That's his guy right there, being the same brave dude who took to the stage even with shaking hands to beat rappers many years older, to address nations, to represent his team in front of a world stage. Namjoon was nervous as hell, but his Yoongi hyung knew him through it all. Yoongi gave up the stage for a performance Namjoon hadn't even finished yet. He knew we would all listen and love the man before us anyway, same as he does.

Back in 2020 I knew I couldn't get used to all the Yoongi I was getting, those were not normal times. What keeps my peace is to imagine that now he might be getting to enjoy the things he likes freely. That being said, today I'm missing him some extra amount
