I have started reviewing the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in 1943. We cannot wait until Martial Law is imposed to take extreme resistance and make plans. How to do this? I don’t know. However, I will not wait until my family, friend, etc. are rounded up for deportation, or interment camps to make plans.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.
