🧶 been seeing a couple people use gen ai on knitting reddit, recommending it for beginner questions, asking it for patterns?? there has to be more pushback from the knitting community 😭

🧶 Knit a pair of gloves for my grandma in 3 days. Almost made them fingerless bc I wasn't sure how long her fingers are but it's a good thing I didn't bc immediately after I gifted them she talked about how cold the fingerless ones someone else gave her are lol

Knitting convertible mittens and had an idea to put stitches on hold and make this tubular cast on at the same time with one waste yarn and it worked 😌 🧶 was able to just unzip it

Finally finished these self drafted ribbed socks for my sister 🧶 and I got pochacco from a blind box on the first try 😌 (my sister's favorite sanrio character)

🧶 Finally blocked the socks I finished a while ago, gifted to my mom. Sister's socks still has one to go. Not been knitting much lately since I was sick but I have so many things planned 😔

🧶 maybe I need to just use them more, I do want to love them but flexible dpns feel so awkward lol. I have small hands but the tips still feel too short 😔. It should be the perfect solution but somehow magic loop and dpns are more comfortable than flexible dpns to me

just got gifted all these mountain meadow wool skeins for my bday 🥰 🧶 they're mostly sport weight. not sure what I'll knit with them since it's 1 skein of each color lol maybe colorwork beanie

didn't knit much today so little progress but tried combination knitting for the ribbing for a bit (yellow) and I think it actually looks worse for me lol gonna just go back to what I was originally doing 🧶
