Now china has started mass production of sodium batteries. Why am I the only excited about the battery revolution? Lithium is not good. Batteries are finally going to last more than a year and stop catching fire!

This is amazing, from a team of people from Finland 🇫🇮 and the UK🇬🇧. I've been hearing about these batteries in theory for years but they made it a reality. Can't wait until they make small versions to be used on embedded systems

This is amazing, from a team of people from Finland 🇫🇮 and the UK🇬🇧. I've been hearing about these batteries in theory for years but they made it a reality. Can't wait until they make small versions to be used on embedded systems

Can someone explain why, if I boot linux on my laptop, I never hear the fans and the temperature stays low, unless I play a heavy game, but when I boot windows in the same laptop, the fans sound like a jet engine when it's in sleep mode?
