2005-2020: CIC
2021-2025: SPC
2026: Recommendation that we return to a CIC model.

I’m trying to pinpoint the dates. The change in 2021 took time and was an expensive and intensive process. It was thoughtfully pursued and not a decision taken lightly. More to come.

2000s: SPC model.
~2011 - 2020: CIC model
2021: SPC model
2026: suggesting change back to CIC.

I do not read minds but I do have a pretty decent sense when it comes to seeing things in my community which makes me think,... "Why is this coming up at this time?" I guess it's maybe a senior mind of watching politics for 3 score and 10 years. Lol

It appears that our local Council wants to consolidate policy within City Hall all while giving less voice to the electorate. It seems that the members that introduced these changes to Council are following the pattern that our provincial gov't has taken since being elected...ignoring the public.
