Some truly delicious textures happening in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
facade of a brick townhouse dating back to approximately the late 1700s/early 1800s. Some sort of refurbishment is in process that has uncovered many different layers of paint over brick; the aged, peeling, stripped away greys, ivories, and whites over bricks the exemplar red of their name.

I did not know before this day that a Canada goose could not only completely submerge itself, but stay under for a fair bit!
