Gooey's body is unstable due to him being a Dark Matter, the kid is sorta a shapeshifter. So solidity heavily depends on his mental state - any extreme (mostly negative) emotion makes him loos a grip on the body

I'm also in love with absolute disaster that is Darometa (Metaroach???). Daroach is definitely using flirting to throw of his enemies and get his ass out of the trouble from time to time, so Meta Knight is having a stroke as a result
