Hi I like tabletop games and DMing, old computers (Win98/earlyXP) and video games (Zelda especially.. I'm old enough that I don't "collect" retro games, I just have a bunch). Genderfluid Dad, almost 40.
It should be standard practise that bathroom light switches be in reach of the toilet so when you sit down to take a shit and forget to turn the fan on it's not too late.

Beneath the Akkala Span (the bridge just south-West of the citadel ruins, next to Cephla lake. Pretty sure it's where my botw save is after 100%ing the game (except for koroks) cuz I found myself there in the rain and was like "yeah I'm done this game".

Too big for a firefight, I'm just a few units off from a proper (albeit small) army for OPR GF. I still don't like painting space marines but I'm finding my peace with the process lol

Absolutely not. Dune is ONLY a fun watch if you have interest in space operas, if you have interest in weird movies with lots of (real world) backstory and shenanigans or if you think it looks like you'd like it- it's one of those "if you're not sure, you probably won't" things. Avoid it.

Thought this was a really well put post. I was never on twitter but FB is invaluable to me and the communities that I've built, helped build and was welcomed in to and I can't just walk away from those. The people who move on like there's nothing to it had nothing to lose in doing so. I do.

For other non-americans like me using blue sky: settings>moderation and filter out the words, "tr|_|mp" and "g[]p" (don't worry about "republican", those of us pining for the glory days of rome are safe) will likely make your feed MUCH more bearable. I guess americans could do this too lol

Found King's Quest compete in box yesterday. Thought I'd share this for people who have only ever played modern games: look what they took from us lol

The post holidays thrift runs are for real right now, in the last two trips: 10 '95 era games at CD prices, 200 dollars worth of warhammer minis for 14.99, original kings quest iv and v CIB, and loads of utility stuff for my hobbies (a ps2 keyboard, etc) and stuff is pretty cheap right now.

So I'm putting floppies in this USB drive and DOS is like "Sir I do not know what a USB is but I recognize a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk when I see one, and that is a floppy."
The BIOS is LYING to DOS. It's fucking gaslighting DOS. It's being like "Yeah DOS, this is TOTALLY a floppy!" *heavy winks*

DOS does not know what a USB is.
But this computer's BIOS does. And I, in fact, installed DOS on to this computer using a USB Floppy drive.
When I put a floppy in it, DOS recognizes it. But even Windows 98 won't recognize a USB flash drive.

Huh. Turns out the laptop I've been looking for all this time... I already had at home. I knew the T40 had full Win98 support but I *did not* realize that mine had a graphics card. I played some THPS2 on it last night, and I'm absolutely LIVID at past me for not checking lol

Went to the dentist today. Always important to do regular cleanings so that you can rub your tongue against the back of your teeth because of how weird they feel now and then your tongue gets razooed and kinda hurts for a couple days.

Another day, another "new" laptop to fuck around with... I don't know how many times I've installed Win95/98/XP in the last couple years. Finally, theoretically, have a 3d accelerated laptop from 2001 but not one I can install Win98 on, which is the ultimate goal.

Oh great there's a hole in my fep. It doesn't leak resin normally, just if I'm actively printing... Plugging it and just not printing anything on that part of the plate until I can order a new one in (probably a few days).
