Copying this here for anyone who doesn't check the other place. I won't be around much. Less than usual I should say. It's a tired phrase but I realize now it's still true and important to hug your loved ones and tell them you love them while you can. You never know.

Vloggers and YTers saying "what's up guys" to an audience that can't respond always felt weird to me but I guess it's born from the same vein as saying "hi, how are you?" Instead of "hello"

Hotel informed us they're closed for renovations and shifted us to their inferior sister site.
Cancelled and booked a more expensive hotel to avoid having a worse experience. The new place gave us a discount and upgraded us to their best suite free of charge with complementary champagne.

Reading the average TikTok comment section makes one thing painfully clear: too many people go through life severely underpunched. And I don't mean that aggressively, it's just the lack of consequences they must have had to think that *that* is an acceptable form of communication.
