The hair stylist of Halpha told me my old hair was too messy and got in the way of combat too.

Rambling time. I find comfort in my myself, but cold nights really do be reminding me that I miss having someone close by. Technically, I could solve that instantly in various ways, but I'd end up feeling rather empty. It's also not helped when others throw themselves at you because they like the concept being with you. But I get pretty turned off by being desired as an idea, a status object, or a body. I always tell folks who are like this that they really wouldn't want to be with me since I'm a pretty unconventional partner even in a casual sense. I'd always want for more and I hate the idea of someone dating me being temporary or using as a rebound. I don't think I'm hard to satisfy but my ways of showing affection don't always translate well to others and when it comes to physical intimacy too. I'm not the most...active. Not to say I can't be, but the mood is rarely there. Sometimes it is. I guess I crave someone that really understands me and is okay with us just...existing with each other and doing boring shit like going to a library, museum or going to damn church. I like the idea of just sharing life with someone else even if there weren't any funny labels. But maybe I'm just weird and acting like I'm 62 in a 26-year-old body. I've looked both irl and online and it's rare I find anyone on my wavelength. I haven't given up looking, but fuck. The path there has been so damaging to my self-image and confidence I'd worked hard to build back up. Dating nowadays for folks is just short-term intensity, validation and novelty and it makes me so mad lol. It's like I'm in the wrong era.
