The grandgirls (and associated adults) have been enjoying a series of ice dye sessions with me. Most of us are new to ice dye, and really serious dyeing of any sort. Ice dye is easy and we are having fun with this fam activity!

Strickler #728 has been on 1 of my looms for MANY months. I just keep winding warps and tying on ... mind is too frazzled to think much harder than that. I was stuck at how well 3 of the towels went with some prints hanging in my bath as if I had planned it.

Took a virtual IceDye Ikat Shibori workshop with @nataliedrummond.bsky.social. It was extremely interesting & educational! My first serious dye workshop Natalie is great and made it all so much fun! Warps are mixed cotton fibers 5/2,8/2,10/2. Weft is bambu 12.
