A retired SAHM and domestic engineer. First time on any social media and just looking for a community. Cross stitching is the thing that has kept my sanity for over 40 years and wolves are my spirit animal. I love animals, all music, books and my family.
There has to be special karma for someone who hits an animal - in this case a deer - and doesn’t check on it. We live in a rural area with speeders. Poor thing was badly hurt but alive. Thankfully our GFP ranger came. Animals feel pain too! She didn’t make it though. 😔

Spending a quiet day at home with Mr. Hubby celebrating our 39th anniversary. Hard to believe how fast time goes. He’s still my best friend.

For those who may not know honor flights are one day trips where the organization flies the veteran and a guardian to DC for the day to visit the memorials. Hubby is one of 75 Vietnam veterans chosen for this flight.
