Archaeologists of Bluesky - what is your must have archaeology book? Especially ones to do with the archaeology of the British Isles, Machu Picchu, or environmental archaeology. I need to build up my library.

I need to get back to England. I may be Australian born, but England is the only place I felt truly home.

Really need to get a new job so I can get my arse back to uni to do my masters. After speaking with a kid who is looking at ANU for archaeology, it really motivated me to want to go back.

Julie Gray, wife of Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev, who joined Musk in his visit to Auschwitz speaks out. She says that Musk felt nothing during the tour & only "cared about how he looked."

She shared this with me privately shortly after the tour, and I'm grateful she made her thoughts public.

Actually heartbroken to hear this. I grew up reading Marsden's book. The Tomorrow series played an integral part of my teen years. Growing up in rural Australia, the characters in the books were just like myself and my friends.
To this day, I still get nervous when I hear fighter jets overhead.
Australian writer John Marsden, author of Tomorrow series, dies aged 74
Marsden, a world-renowned author of children's and young adult fiction, wrote the beloved adventure novel Tomorrow, When the War Began.

This Aussie who hates the heat is insanely jealous of all the lovely snowy photos coming out of the UK right now. ❄️❄️❄️

I hate packing, and I hate moving. However, at least I will not have to put up with real estate agents and their twice a year inspections anymore. Yay to friends buying houses.
I will now also be able to seriously look at going back to uni and getting masters in environmental archaeology.
