No Man's Sky's Abandoned Mode is just 1.0's aesthetics but abandoned, post-apocalyptic, and ruined. It kinda just feels like it was made to emphasis how completely different the game is now from 1.0, and how the old vision of the game has been completely abandoned.

Wow, my ThinkPad runs No Man's Sky amazingly! Intel's Vulkan support is amazing and also the game is not running your general cookie cutter Unity/Unreal.

With the Framework Laptop fiasco, here I am with my Lenovo laptop... where I can literally buy every single part of the laptop individually and construct a new one from just those parts with the entire hardware manual no questions asked; and also have a fully working Linux system.
