Just for the record he’s less like a sorcerer and more like a warlock. Warlock don’t technically need a pact but their power does come from an outside source and even the sourcebooks say the patron does not need to be aware. So he is a warlock not a sorcerer since he’s just hijacking power.

No spoilers but I am repeatedly impressed by the Fallout show to actually address the moral complexity of the wasteland. Like look at the Brotherhood and Legion and they’re probably more alike than you might think.
