Reading through Higurashi with a close friend and man. I think chapter 3 might be the hardest thing either of us have read ever, genuinely written so accurately to how so many structures that fail vulnerable people (esp. with mental illness) work and continue to be upheld in all respects.

After a day of appointments + phone calls, I want to write this while it's in my mind - especially if you're alone in your immediate family you know to get help, taking those first steps of recovery are really scary... and that's not an invalid fear. Anyone have any good resources for "p2p language learning," i.e. something that matches you with someone who speaks a language of choice with the expectation that both of you act as speaking practice for eachother?
