I almost forgot to post my #sotd which is Nosferatu by Heretic. I don’t pick up much of the floral, just petrichor dirt which I like. It’s fine but it’s a bit too chill and has no longevity on me at all. Almost as much as I was disappointed by the Noaferatea 😂

#sotd is Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy. Pretty boring and chill compared to other things I’ve tested but hey, it was free. Very ambrette on me with a bit of powder, that’s all I get. It’s a good “I don’t know what the environment will be” scent that doesn’t break down doors with any polarizing notes.

With 52 trails done in 2025, I think I’ll keep the same number this year however, repeat is back on the table. #1 is new though, along the water in Tiburon, beautiful between the storms.

Finished off my hiking year and 52 goal in Bolinas. 37 degrees and solitary (minus the cows) until the last quarter mile. Will aim again next year to get out a lot, counting helped!

It’s starting official winter rainy season so I took a section of the Bay Trail starting at Point San Bruno Park (ironically not in SB but South SF) by my old work. Hike #51 in the books but damn my hip hurts.

#sotd is Alice by BPAL. They gave me some greatest hits as samples so that’s cool to go through. Not sure I’d buy a full, it smells too powdery for what I want in my collection. I get an off vibe and I think it’s the carnation which I don’t think are the best flowers.
