My county councilman Dave Hammond made some stupid generalized comments about SNAP recipients, so I left him a message at 636-949-7530. Sad that he is both an Army vet and held government jobs - I guess the irony of depending on the gov't is lost on him.

At today's No Kings Protest I wore my VoteVets UKR t-shirt and a nice Ukrainian women thanked me for my support. I told her I was sorry more Americans don't support Ukraine. Her good wishes made my day. I pointed out someone with a UKR flag along our protest and she thanked him too.
