Listening to a talk about NodeXL for social network analysis to understand social media interactions (liking, sharing, friending etc).

Fascinating to hear this: social media is a "marketplace of ideas" and "we need our accountants."

Quick question: If I upload actual screenshots of my work to the computer screen in your game, is it stored locally or in your cloud? @goghjpn.bsky.social

I ask because I find it improving productivity (by having my actual work on the screen) but wonder about privacy.

I have been playing this Focus game to help me get work done. I think every 9 days, they give you a new companion that floats on a book. My last companion wrote me a heart-broken letter and "farewell-ed" before I knew it. This new one was born grumpy, and now is pouty. #game #focus

Our dog brought in a very dead mouse during the hottest days and nature was doing its job degrading it so there were many bug-crawlings.

"I fix dinner!"
(Humans catching crawling worms in the background.)

My personal view of short-video scrolling is dialectical. It exists and we should explore. A medium exists, then we shall look into it.

Here is a guide from APA for parents to guide teens for healthy video viewing.

书册埋头无了日,不如抛却去寻春。

是朱熹的七言绝句吧。形容我正好。

I have been buried in books all day, so I might as well put them aside and go look for spring.

This is a seven-character quatrain by Zhu Xi. It describes me just right.

Well, our dog learned to open the door on her own, not to go outside, but to go to places where you are trying to work/sleep.

Her tutorial would go like this: first, you stand up & paw the door, paw it more. Keep pawing. Then immediately look innocent when there's a crack.

One thing I'm deeply touched by Hawaiʻi is that the genuine trust between people. Auntie was right, people in Hawaiʻi donʻt lie.
