This is Thanksgiving week, and while most of us are preparing for a relaxing week, the White Pine County Commission has decided to hold a meeting on Wednesday.  Seems four of the five members of the commission are allergic to kindness to their employees.  But the agenda is short which hopefully means the rocket scientists might not screw anything up too badly.  On the other hand, knowing that four fifths of the commission has difficulty locating their seating apparatus with both hands, anything’s possible.  They’re seeking to sell a ¾ acre plot of land in the city and get updates on budget preparations and SNPLMA grant projects.  Given that this commission couldn’t budget their way out of a paper bag and will no doubt screw things up with SNPLMA so bad there will never be a repaired duck pond, much less a Heritage Park, why bother meeting.  White Pine County is on it’s way to becoming another spectacular failure.  And remember, you voted for it.
