Rutgers' new data science institute, IDRIS, launched Monday. It was great to be there with Kimele Persaud and MaryAlice Rocks to see this important effort get off the ground. The NJ Lt. Gov., Tahesha L. Way, even showed up to show support!

Do skilled readers with #autism use the same brain systems for reading as neurotypicals? Not quite. The upshot is they may rely less on word meanings and more on letter-sound mappings. See our new open access article for details:
