Let's make the name Andrew Milne synonomous with extortion on a grand scale of normal working people.
Beyond the story of what a C this man is (not a word I use often), this story highlights:

- the need for local journalism (if you can afford it, subscribe to yr local paper)

- the need to get rid of leaseholds.
“It broke my heart, that was my savings towards a new car,” one woman who paid Milne tens of thousands of pounds told us. “He has just wiped me out.”

Who is Andrew Milne - the solicitor sending "very aggressive" letters to Sheffield homeowners?

The party who claim to be patriots literally had a Reform leadership member caught red handed taking bribes from Russia.

This article details the speeches Nathan Gill gave that he was paid to give.

How are Reform getting away with this?

Finally got around to muting all baseball related words and tags. My discover feed is readable again.
Kids play rounders at primary school in UK. Less than zero interest in watching supposed grown-ups doing it and considerably less reading or hearing them witter on about it endlessly.

Very strange.

Hey, Labour party that I voted for, check this out in case you didn't notice it: if you try to play to the worst most destructive aspects of the British psyche then (a) those who like that will vote for Reform anyway and (b) those who don't like that won't vote for you

Farage and Reform are not just useful idiots, they are knowingly supporting and being supported by actual traitors and enemies of the state.

I hate internal politics at work. I asked colleague F if some giveaways had been sent to the show next week, to get an answer back- colleagues M and K are responsible. Without forwarding my original request to M and K. FFS F - don't just give it back to me, just because you're miffed.

I was in the UK last week for a family wedding. In Stoke. Brexit central. Feck me, it was full of absolute throbbers putting up flags, alternately England, then Britain, on the street lamps. Both on some of them.

Made me thoroughly ashamed to be English/British/English/British.
