We were saddened to hear the news that Mike Alexander has died aged 77, after lifetime dedicated to protecting wildlife and wild places in Wales. Mike will be missed by many at the Trust, but his incredible legacy will live on.

#TeamWilder hosted an outdoor skills event with the Chinese in Wales Association at our Gelli-Hir reserve. They covered what you can forage at this time of year, how to collect water & the different ways to build a den. Gelli-Hir is a gorgeous woodland to visit in autumn!

A special delivery for Cartersford 🌳

A big thank you to @celticwildflowers.bsky.social and @wtswwswanseagroup.bsky.socialwho kindly donated 120 trees to be planted at our Cartersford reserve. These trees will help to restore woodland on site, providing food and habitat for a variety of species!
