How many animals die for food every second? Based on 2020 data from the USDA, that number is 1,758. At first glance, this might not seem like much, but added up over time, the sheer number of animals killed for food is almost too large to comprehend.

I just saw "The Fifth Element" for the first time, and I don't understand why this got so many good reviews. It feels like the filmic version of a clickbait. Visually interesting perhaps, but the story is horrible, reducing women and cultures into clichés.
