Tama winds up for a 540 Tornado Kick! As Llav is a taller opponent, Emi lies down on all fours to give Tama a boost, letting her jump off her back to reach the statuesque Viera! With the kick knocking her to the floor, the two switch positions, Tama providing a stable base for Emi to do a Shooting Star Press of her back, providing an extra bit of height to slam down onto the prone Viera!

OMG WILLOW HI!!! I was really rooting for her to retain the TBS championship the first time, but with 2 consecutive wins against Mercedes, I'm really happy to see her as a double champion now! Hashing it out with Statlander was real nice to see, a heartwarming end to AEW's 2025~

Llav has Tama in a Rear-Naked Choke/Sleeper Hold! A move designed to squeeze the fight out of an opponent by limiting blood-flow to the brain, Tama is clearly already fading in the Viera's grasp! In a surprise pin, Aika flips Tama over in a Gannosuke clutch! She holds Tama's hands down and hooks her leg over one of Tama's, preventing a kick out. She even grabs one of Tama's belts for extra leverage! The tag team of LunaTrigger, Emi and Tama, perform some combination offense on Star! The two dance, with the Miqo'te dipping Tama, causing the Au Ra to raise her leg, feeding Star her boot! Tama lifts Star by hooking her arms underneath Star's armpits in the Double Underhook position, before lifting her and slamming her head first into a mat in a Double Underhook DDT! This move is famously used by Jon Moxley as the "Death Rider"

World's End was a blast! The C2s ending was a genuine surprise to me, and I'm excited to see the fallout of Okada's actions towards the Family, and losing the belt! The Women's matches were spectacular too, and Toni made that Mixed Nuts match to be one of the most fun matches I've seen~

Llav has Tama in a High Angle Half-Crab submission hold! The move has Llav taking control of Tama's right leg, pulling it towards the Au Ra's on head, placing immense stress on her back! As Llav does this, she further cements the hold and applies extra pressure by pushing her own knee down on Tama's head, pinning her in place and adding extra leverage into the hold!

I had a feeling that these 4 would end up in the Semis for the C2 (Though, I thought it'd be Claudio over Mox) at the start. Despite that, this tournament was a rollercoaster and every match was amazing! Bummed about not seeing either member of JetSpeed, but they had an amazing showing~

A very Starlit starlight
(happy holidays)
The Starlit Dojo celebrating Starlight (totally-not-christmas) around a cozy fireplace. Star (I can call her that we're cool) is sitting in a rocking chair, telling stories to the two youngest members, Aika and Tama. Llav is aura farming in the background, sitting on the sofa's arm while she sips rosé. She is smiling, amused at either whatever story Star is telling, or the gremlins' reactions to it. They're all wearing Starlight hats, with Llav wearing hers on top of one of her ears (lmao) An alternate angle of the aforementioned picture. This one shows Tama pogging out like she was just told Xenosaga is getting an unlimited budget remake (I'm projecting). Aika wraps her arm around Tama's shoulder and looks at her with a silly yet warm smile. Their tails aren't visible because they may or may not be touching tips. I'd have done a third angle from Llav's right side, where she was in the foreground and the others in the background, but ddos + crash lol. Rest assured she is still aura farming and being hot in the background out of view.

I've been super busy so I hadn't found the time to talk about last week, but I'm really glad that the Gold League ended up being a spotlight on JetSpeed! The C2 has always been a place for the talent to show off, but Knight and Speedball have really taken that chance and jumped with it~

The Starlit dojo is a spectrum! Tama is a full on babyface (though she doesn't skimp on intensity in a match), while Llav is a full on "Better than you" haughty Heel~

Starlight is usually a Face, but given how long her career has been, she's turned Heel once or twice~

It's Wednesday, You Know What That Means!

When ya think of dropkicks, a good, missile dropkick is what most people think of, but there's so many other varieties out there! These can range from hits like concussive blasts to charging like battering rams~

Tama charges in, and delivers a Single Leg Front Dropkick to Star's shoulder! As the name implies, it's a dropkick that only makes contact with one of the attacker's legs. It's also known as a Rocket Kick or Sickick! Emi gracefully kicks off Tama's chest to perform a backflip, landing on her chest, in a move called the Dropsault! It combines the force of a front dropkick with the elegance of a moonsault~ La Viuda Negra charges in with a Basement Dropkick! A variant of the front dropkick, the Basement Dropkick targets lower, like on a standing opponents legs, or on a seated opponent! Aika charges towards a dazed Tama on the ropes with a Hesitation Dropkick! Like the name implies, the attacker holds the dropkick position for much longer, only kicking at the very last second as they make contact with the opponent!
