Morning People took over the world, and we just LET them do it

My wife and I are fighting now.

She just told me about her dream in which we had a ward party with the theme "Dark Followers", a blend of the goth and pioneer aesthetics.

How dare she tell me about something so perfect that I will never have?

The philosophy behind college:

What if we took 40,000 of the horniest people in the world, put them in rooms together and asked them to solve complex math equations?

I really want to learn how to draw so that I can draw in that stupid glossy style of AI. Every time someone accuses me of using AI to make art I will take it as a victory

I genuinely thought the online discourse about whether audio books "count" as reading was a running bit until I saw people earnestly arguing about it in a comment thread

Santa Claus is a jolly old elf who flies around slinging presents.
(The) Santa Clause (note the "e") is the legal contract that declares Santa's successor to be whoever killed Santa.

Merry Christmas!

That moment in Dark Souls

You've died to this boss a hundred actual times. Every ten deaths or so, you notice something new. You identify a wind-up; you figure out a dodge; you find a safe attack window. It takes a few more deaths, but you implement each one...

My favorite responses to Elon Musk's shenanigans are definitely people saying disparaging things about South Africa and South Africans. That makes you sound really cool and not like a bigot at all.

If I'm unhappy with the rules in the D&D 5.5 DMG for Bastions for being boring and shallow, and unhappy with the rules in Pathfinder 2 Kingmaker for being too fiddly, then it's time to homebrew, right?

I remember being taught as a child that animals had spirits and eternal existence. I hoped and hope this is true, because I really want to reconnect with my dog who passed in 2018.

Question 1: is this idea scripturally supported?

I finished the High Republic prequel novels, and am now reading phase 1 with the "current"-quel novels.

Some of them are awful and difficult to get through. Most of them are mid. They are occasionally interrupted by moments of brilliance.

So, yeah. Star Wars. Pretty true to the source ♥️🌟

"Man, I'm contractually obligated to write one more Christmas Carol before midnight, but I'm really hungry and can't stop thinking about figgy pudding."

Most Star Trek fans I know are also Star Wars fans and vice versa.

When people* comment on the "rivalry" between the franchises, it's usually outsiders who are fans of neither. Occasionally it's just deeply toxic fans.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.

Fair enough, but after 10 years, hundreds of hours, and thousands of dollars spent on attending every kind of course you can imagine in real estate, comedy, business building, videography, and probably a bunch of things I'm forgetting, I'd like to add:

I don't really understand Bluesky yet (can you tell from my lack of profile pic?)

I want to follow people talking about Utah, tabletop gaming, writing, and comedy. If that's you, please comment here so I can follow you.

I was just invited to a mastermind about wealth-building through rental properties. We will discuss property acquisition, rent, and--if there's time--ways to exploit the working class.

It takes place on Christmas Day.

It's whatever the exact opposite of the Christmas Carol is.
