This is a nylon string #mandolin I made from a #ukulele neck, and a half size #fiddle body. I call it The Fiddolin. It has no metal frets, but instead the frets are angled frets called step frets CNC carved into an old cello fingerboard. #homemadeinstruments #streetluthier #luthier #trashinstruments

Hey so while we are all leaving Meta anyone know a decent replacement for a local marketplace. I rely on FB marketplace for selling and buying used stuff, I don't know what to do. It's not just that it's events and groups that were all tied to wherever I am living. Any suggestions?

For foreseeable reasons that were completely within my control I found myself awake way too early a couple days ago. As I stepped out into the world just as the sun was rising I found everything covered in these little crystals. So I took these pictures. I use the built-in focus stack feature 1/2

Walking around the trailer park I often run across these little #jumpingspiders They often sit still and let me take photo after photo, sometimes they move around or face away when they're trying to eat something. Often tho, some of them appear to be friendly.

It was a rainy day today, I did not want to go out o my bike. I took my camera on a walk to the very short path behind the trailer park where people dump stuff. I often find mushrooms here. Today I found this little mushroom growing next to a old broken bottle. #photography
