Today many people look at Harriett Tubman and the folks who participated in the underground railroad as heroes. At the time they were all considered criminals breaking many laws related to slavery.

It's wild to think that there were people who watched the movie Star Wars and left the theatre believing Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and the Empire were the victims.

The harm outweighs the good. But at least a handful of people will make a ton of money even if the majority suffers, AMIRIGHT!?!?

I want this next generation of software development tools to run on my own computer. Vim and Emacs helped democratize software development and made it accessible. We shouldn't allow this AI wave to take us backwards.

I really hope the open source community can keep pace.

If an unidentified, masked, armed man started to open the door to my car as he was pulling out his gun, I'd definitely try to drive away. I'd be hitting the gas hard.

"It was not Hitler or Himmler who abducted me, beat me and shot my family. It was the shoemaker, the milkman, the neighbor, who received a uniform and then believed they were the master race." - Karl Stojka (survived multiple concentration camps)

The primary practiced response model for school shootings is run and hide. Fighting back is prescribed as the last resort.

Most sane people would run from an armed, masked, unidentified man because at a young age that’s what a lot of us are taught to do.

Remember when we used to have an FTC and an FCC to provide some consumer protections? In the age of the billionaire, it's the wild west out here. Making more money trumps everyone's well being and sanity. Be safe. Protect yourselves and your children.

Men are using Grok to undress women, children, & babies. Grok can't do this without humans making a request of it & Elon's company provides no safety or guardrails. The grok model is trained on abusive content & doesn't ban users requesting illegal content. Wild. www.reuters.com/legal/litiga...
